Sutchin R. Patel MD FACS
Dr. Patel completed medical school and his urologic residency training at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and finished his chief resident year in 2009. He completed a 2 year fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Endourology, Laparoscopy and Robotics.
He is a Clinical Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He has published extensively and has presented at national and international conferences.
Dr. Patel is board certified in adult and pediatric urology and is a member of the American Urological Association. He has a special interest in the prevention and surgical management of kidney stones and has helped teach the annual Nutrition Counseling for the Prevention of Urolithiasis course at the AUA Annual Meeting. He has published a text on the treatment of ureteral stones: Ureteral Stone Management: A Practical Approach, Springer 2015. He is also fellowship trained in minimally invasive (robotics and laparoscopic) approaches to renal and prostate cancer.
