Dr. Carrie Johans treats all general urologic conditions. Her areas of interest include kidney stones, prostate disorders, and urologic cancer including the prostate, bladder, and kidneys.  She completed her Urologic Surgery residency at the University of Missouri – Columbia in 2017 and additional fellowship training in Endourology at Loyola University in 2018. This accredited Endourology Fellowship allowed Dr. Johans to perfect her techniques in minimally invasive urology using the Da Vinci robot as well as complex stone surgery.

Dr. Johans is from Kansas City. She graduated with a B.A in Economics from Vanderbilt University and attended medical school at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. She stayed in Columbia to complete her urology residency where she received excellent training in general urology.  She then moved to Chicago to complete her fellowship.

Dr. Johans lives in the West Loop of downtown Chicago. She enjoys spending her time away from work with her husband, Stephen and son, Jack.
